Alaskan from HNL to San Diego delayed, possibly canceled . options ?
Hi all,
I am taking a flight from HNL to SAN (san Diego) and it looks like the flight already got delayed. Alaska said it only has one flight today with that route and it does not fly into LAX. I have a feeling it will get canceled since my friends flights yesterday got delayed and then canceled .
What are my options? How do I ask for vouchers? I think San Diego airport has a curfew so another reason it might get canceled. Can they fly me into another airport ?
I booked using avios points.

It looks like the inbound aircraft flying AS895 diverted (air turn back) to SAN this morning. The flight is back in the air and enroute to HNL.
Your friends flight yesterday also returned to HNL after departure due to maintenance. Either the issue could not be resolved or it could but the time it would take to repair would put the crew past their duty time thus the cancellation.

Don't agree with O.P. that the flight is likely to cancel. The SAN curfew is for departures, not arrivals. Also, since the delay was on the inbound, it shouldn't lead to a further delay on your flight (assuming whatever the issue was is resolved). You'll probably get out.
