Can AS do cross-airline bookings via phone
 

I need a routing that is DL on outbound and AS on inbound.

I'd love it to be on AS-ticket stock. If I call AS, can they book that via phone?

I am Gold if that helps.

Assuming you are flying domestically, my experience has been yes, they will. As long as there is at least one AS-coded segment somewhere in the itin, AS agents will issue the whole ticket on their ticket stock. You end up getting the benefits of the MVPG change fee waiver on other airlines' flights. It's great. If the first AS agent is hesitant, you can always try another agent, or call a third-party travel agent to make the booking.

For international flights, the first international carrier issues the ticket. Theoretically, if you were to fly, say, SEA-YYC on AS and connect on KL to AMS, then return to SEA on DL, you might be able to get the whole ticket issued on 027 stock. I've never tried this, but would be interested to know if anybody else has done so successfully.

AS doesn't ticket revenue international flights outside MEX & and Canada.

AS can and will ticket flights on airlines it has a ticketing agreement with, such as AA, DL, UA, and US, provided:

1. There is an AS fare on the ticket
2. Travel is within the AS's service area (50 US States/Canada/Mexico)
2. The other airline's fare can be combined with the AS fare
3. The agent can find the flights in their reservations system. YMMV on AS being able to ticket AA/DL-marketed, AS-operated codeshares.

If the other airline is an AS partner and AS doesn't typically serve the city pair where one wishes to fly the other airline, it may be possible to book the itinerary on alaskaair.com.

I've booked and flown a few such itineraries, including one with fares from 3 different airlines (DL, AA, and AS) and one with 5 different operating carriers in one direction.
