Some SEA-PDX flights now mainline?!?

Wow-

I was checking some flights in August, and some flights are now mainline. Is this a response to DL, or merely repositioning?

So far, just one each way each day. PDX-SEA aS 421 leaving at 1000PM.
SEA-PDX AS 420 leaving SEA at 815AM.

SEA-PDX AS420 08:15-09:03
PDX-SEA AS421 22:00 - 22:46

That is the only flight I'm seeing on mainline, I have no idea as to why, but based on the times, I'd guess re-positioning.

I know that every time I take the 930PM flight to SEA, it is always almost sold out. If the pushed the flight to YVR back by 15 minutes, it would allow for a later departure out of PdX as well.

They might also have a lot of freight to move then.

I wonder if F gets a snack box.

Since when does AS serve a snack box in F? If so, I've been missing something....the only time anyone reports getting a snack box in F is when they ask for one leftover after the snacks/meals are sold in Y.

Wow...this is a blast from the past: Mainline on PDX - SEA. What's next a DL A330?

I remember flying an L10-11 widebody on a TWA flight from SEA-PDX which I think originated in JFK maybe?

I could see DL running an A330 PDX-SEA-LHR

Upgrade waitlist, since this route is a business heavy route for AS with tons of elites, some are curious how massive/long the upgrade waitlist will be for this flight.

Makes sense, thanks. I imagine the upgrading folks will do it more for the novelty of it than anything else. On the 10:00 p.m. northbound flight especially, I'd imagine your chances are pretty high of getting an empty middle seat next to you in coach, or even a whole row to yourself. The value in upgrading would be minimal, don't you think?

Maybe, but I know there are a lot of TPAC flights that leave Seattle and Vancouver overnight along with redeyes to Anchorage. I could see them selling a bunch if seats.

And the snack box reference was more a question what kind of food if any was available. I thought they could spin out a snack box in F and pick them up before landing in SEA.

Can't be that different from flying on a bro or even Beech 1900 for that matter. Better hurry while OO/UAX still has them.
