To try to make sense of what's all happening between AS and DL, the idea arose during the recent Alaska do to create a compendium in the wiki of the various stages of the current spat. Please add your knowledge where you can!

That "Bloomberg" spot has also been running like crazy during Root Sports telecasts of Mariners games. Alaska may be the official airline of the Mariners, but there's Delta in your face between every inning on TV.

DL Suspends SEA-HND Until Spring
In other DL news... not everything they touch in Seattle turns to gold for them. Tokyo Haneda isn't working and, according to the posts at the tail end of this thread, is being pulled from the schedule at least until the end of March.

DELTA from 01OCT14 is suspending Seattle – Tokyo Haneda operation for the Winter season, where it currently operates daily flight on board Boeing 767. This route will be resumed from 29MAR15.

Saw this as well and it's not a good omen for the "secondary" markets served by DL out of SEA.

I've taken the flight and really like HND so it's pretty sad to see it go.

That might be a bit of a stretch.

SEA-HND competes, to some extent, with SEA-NRT, which DL continues to serve.

All the U.S. carriers are having trouble with HND and the late night slot times assigned; AA canceled JFK-HND and UA cut back sharply on SFO-HND, so it's not just Delta or Seattle. Meanwhile, the more conveniently timed Air Canada YYZ-HND flights are apparently doing so well that they're suspending YYZ-NRT for the winter instead!

Now, the short-lived SEA-KIX service that Delta ended last fall... can't blame that one on slot times.
