That's my general understanding from the reading I've done. I haven't purchased any miles from points.com myself.

It won't show as an Alaskan or Alaska Airlines purchase, just points.com.

Greetings,

I just opened an Alaska Airlines account to purchase miles. I am getting an account is not eligible to purchase miles error message. Does anyone know the "waiting" period before one can purchase miles for new accounts?
