As an additional resource for these cards see the threads here: Current Alaska Airlines Card Offers. Previous 2012-2016 Alaska Airlines Card Offers.
If you are applying for a personal AS card, and are not an expert on applying for A/S cards STOP, don't apply yet. Instead read post #3688 in the other AS thread linked above. Believe me, doing that first may save you a huge amount of wasted time and frustration.
Link to enhanced AS card that waives $99 fee for Companion Fare (only pay taxes & fees): 30K miles and $99 CF fee waived
$100 stmt. credit link for 30K card & $22 CF pass:https://secure.bankofamerica.com/applynow/welcome.go Now active, as of 7/19/17
Business card offer of 30K miles
Can you book Cathay flights using AS miles? Probably NOT:

my 25K bonus miles posted immediately, even before I received the card. Is this normal?

I applied on the 12th and got my card on the 23rd. When I call Bank of America to verify that $100 statement credit after 1k spend they couldn't find it on my account. I took a screenshot of offer but is this common for others? I don't really want to spend $1000 on this card if the credit is not going to post...

I just got approved for 4 cards about a week ago; those were my 4 first BofA cards ever.

I think he applied on the 12th of May , not submitting 12 apps.
Also, I called when our card arrived because I did not see the $100 statement credit listed in welcome packet. It was confirmed by rep on phone and then letter from B of A came with description of spend requirement for credit.
YMMV

Also thought of another possible hang up.
$100 statement credit is for new customers only. We alternate each year on card application,(me or hubby) so it is a new account. Also keeps miles "even" in our alaska miles account. I was way ahead last year, now hubby will catch up with this years spending.

I understand it takes a while for BOA to send the actual credit cards out, but it's been two weeks since my approval but I haven't received the credit card yet. Is this odd or normal? I did receive the 25K miles in my MP account.'
Update: Just checked my mailbox, so it must have come in this past weekend.
