I am going to try to get up to at least four as well. I thought you can go up to as many as you want as long as you continue to get approved..??

I just reached the 1-year anniversary on one of my cards. I was hoping to wait for the companion fare to hit my Alaska account, then cancel the card to avoid paying the annual fee.

However, at this point the AF has posted but no companion fare yet.

What are people's experiences? Is this a reasonable strategy? When can I expect the companion fare to show up?

It sounds like companion certs are starting to show up later due to folks cancelling after the cert is deposited, but before the annual fee is paid.

Minimum income requirement

Hello, I am looking for information on the minimum income requirement -- either personal or household or both. BTW, I am aware of the $70k/$120k requirement for World Elite. Thanks for any information provided.

Has anyone ever asked them move credit over from an existing Alaska in order to gain approval for another one? wouldn't it seem a bit odd?

I just cancelled mine today (applied Sep 2014 before move to TD)
They said they can re-activate cancelled card within 90 days (no thanks)

Will apply later (the 0% Balance Transfer one + Alaska)
