pork hash egg Benedict breakfast alaska Airlines

First Time having this breakfast
Very tasty
It was a pork hash patty with eggs Benedict on top
The side was a 1/4 of a tomato

Wow! They sprung for an entire quarter of a tomato. What opulence!

Ugh despise the raw tomato offerings- but breakfast hash sounds good ^

Scrapple anyone

I was on OAK-LIH not too long ago, and had the pork hash. I found it fine, though a bit bland for my taste. The other option was a fritatta with crab sauce.

I chuckled at the menu thinking "what would Anthony do?" Anthony is a friend of mine who keeps a fairly kosher diet. I suppose he could have chowed down on macadamias, but he's allergic to tree nuts. Clearly not a kosher kitchen.

Well that's his problem ain't it? Good thing he's not on AS much anymore.

Yes, it is his problem (and it would have meant double brekkie for me!) It is a good thing because he is SUCH a whiner. You should hear him kvetch when he doesn't get his upgrade! Oy Vey! Oh The Humanity! Oh his suffering! Someoone call Oxfam! Someone call Amnesty International!

Oh I know! Like some people complain about flying other airlines when they didn't even pay for the ticket.

That is called "intolerable working conditions."

The good thing is that AS generally offers turkey Canadian bacon rather than pork for its sides. I don't know about this new fangled Eggs Benedict. Only time I had it, it was smoked salmon. sniff

Had the pork hash thing from SAN to OGG last month and hated it. Dry, salty and weird. I wish they would stop trying so hard on these "unique" breakfast offerings and just stick to the basics done correctly. Last year's french toast with scrambled eggs was delicious.
