Invites are out for the next Anchorage MVPG Breakfast / Lunch event...March 21st at the Capt. Cook again...

always has struck me as bizarre they dont use an MP partner hotel

Interesting, I can only recall one time (Marriott downtown) that the event was held at a MP parter property...

It was at the Millenium a few years back and there's a way to get miles there. I think AS crews might use Capt'n Cook on occasion for layovers.

how so you get miles there? I know AS uses it a lot for FAs but havent seen any MP partnership unless its owned by some parent company thats listed at MP hotel partners

Well a quick bump- apparently I'll be at the lunch next week... and IIRC the Captain Cook has free wifi

I know of one other FTer who will be there... anyone else?

Didn't get an invite, been an MVPG based in ANC since 2008 and have yet to receive one

They use to have an e-mail address on their website where you could request a spot if you didn't get invited, but it's gone now. Otherwise they have some sort of list, as they can't invite all MVPG's to each event, they rotate through, and guess I just haven't made it through the rotation yet.

From the email I received this morning it looks like there will be about 28 Golds at the breakfast session...
