filed a missing points request
 
about two months ago. Haven't heard anything. Worth contesting it?

I would recommend calling Customer Care. They can tell you what the status of the request is...and whether or not it was received at all.

If you have the ticket number when you call they may be able to post it immediately. The only time I had to followup on a request it was completed while I had a chat with the agent about the destination.
