Free First Class Upgrade Certs to Good Home (2010 edition)
 

I have three. The cert says they are fully transferable. Would prefer to share them with three different users, but if you want two, that's OK by me. They are good through 12/31/10.

Hi -

Along the same lines as this thread -- I know one of the assistant station managers in PDX. Every December I stop by with any unused Upgrade Certs and tell him to find a good home for them.

Over the years they have gone to people with broken limbs; honeymooners; senior citizens and military; and to those that are just having a really bad day

(Haven't we all been there?)

I have two from 2010, but I cannot promise to mail them in a timely fashion. I have no envelopes and no stamps anywhere in my posession (if a company doesn't do business online, I don't do business with them), and if I say I'll go get envelopes and stamps, I'll most likely just end up breaking my promise, so I'd rather not even say I will.

So, anyone in the Anchorage area--or passing through the Anchorage area--who wants one or both, PM me and we'll meet up. Airport layovers are usually fine, since I work at the airport (and can leave them at my workplace if I'm not in).

Flying LAS to SEA on the 31st... After flying SEA>SFO>LAX>SAN on United (don't ask) on the 28th and SAN>LAX>PHX>LAS on 3 different airlines (long story) I could sure use the bump on my last leg (AS thankfully!!!)

If you flight isn't until January 2nd, the certs being given away in this thread won't help you. People are giving away the certs because they expire 31 Dec 2010 (ie, they will soon be value-less). You would need one of next year's certs, valid until 31 Dec 2011, which are quite valuable still, and thus unlikely to be given away so freely.

Wrapped up my last flight of the year (MSP-SEA on 12/21) with two Complimentary Upgrade Coupons left.

So I knocked on the door of the just-closed AS Board Room in SEA (the MSP flight had been delayed by a mechanical) and when they opened up, I gave the CSRs the two certs and suggested they upgrade anyone who looked like they could use a lift over the remaining ten days of the year.

They happily took them and I'm hoping they get put to good use. ^

I have one paper cert left.

I also have 50 gmail invites in case anyone else is interested.

Looking for a cert to use 12/30 if possible

I have four. Thought I would get to use them with mrs RobinPDX last week on trip to LIH but never had a chance - they never allowed miles or certs to be used from the day I booked it many months ago.

I live in Portland, and am going to the beach for today coming home Monday PM. Will take with and can mail. PM me if interested.

Highly unlikely, as those certs are valid until 12/2011 and so are still very valuable to the original owners.

Let's keep this thread on-topic to the 2010 certs.
