Alaskaair.com Slow Recently?
Anyone else noticed that any actions on the AS website that involve database pulls (perhaps specifically from Mileage Plan systems) have been slooooooow the last few days?
It takes sometimes 30 to even 60 seconds to do things like pull up a reservation from the MyTrips page or load Mileage Plan account activity.
Is it just me?

I had this problem the other night trying to make updates to a reservation. Had to try 3 times, with it running slow each time.

Seems ok to me now. Perhaps the site got a flood of PFD'ers in the evening and next morning as they opened their emails to the PFD sales. The times mentioned seem to coincide. And speaking of the 732. There is a ghost 732 now and then on the schedule page

Hm. Trying to add an existing reservation to my MyTrips account. I tried once, and the page timed out. I tried again with a stopwatch, and I've now been waiting for the page to load for 3 minutes and 52 seconds. Still waiting...

OK, I gave up. Tried again.
First, 23 seconds to load the My Trips page.
25 seconds to bring up the Add A Current Reservation page.
23 seconds to add the reservation and be returned to the My Trips page.
22 seconds to bring up the next Add A Current Reservation page.
23 seconds to add the second reservation and be returned to the My Trips page.
31 seconds to begin loading the detail page on the first reservation (48 seconds until the page was fully loaded--it was waiting for something).
53 seconds to bring up the printer-friendly page on that reservation.
18 seconds to return to the My Trips page.
1 minute and 21 seconds after clicking the second reservation, I received the following error:
Tried again, and the reservation came up after 38 seconds (took about 55 before the page was fully loaded).
Then, 27 seconds for the printer-friendly page to start loading and 35 seconds to finish loading.
And no, it's not my Internet connection...

Perhaps it was the size of the reservation?
Try a different last name (other party traveling) - sometimes works
