Losing More PHX Flights for the Summer

Looking at the latest summer schedules (late-July), AS has axed 1 flight to SEA and PDX. PHX is down to only 4 non-stops to SEA and 2 to PDX. Sad to see these reductions at PHX. Not too long ago, it was 6 to SEA and 3 to PDX.

Thanks for the clarification! I didn't think to check multiple days during the week. I usually choose a Wednesday for the "average" weekday schedule. It sounds like they're just tailoring the schedule to actual demand, which makes good business sense.

If AS ever decides to fly to SAT, I hope that they will pair it with MSY. A SEA-SAT-MSY flight might be profitable for AS. There is decent SEA-SAT demand, decent SEA-MSY demand, and decent SAT-MSY demand.

I flew AS/AA via DFW a couple of years ago and it was pretty full on both segments. DFW-MSY was completely packed (although it WAS Halloween weekend ).
