SJC to PDX Shuttle Changes
 
I am not sure if many are aware that the Portland to Silicon Valley shuttle is changing. For many this is a weekly trip and over 50% of the plane seems to be MVPG.

Well the shuttle return will soon be changing...currently there is a 6:40 Alaska Flight (by far the busiest flight) and a 7:40 Horizon flight...but the new schedule will be 6:30 Horizon and then a 8:40 Alaska flight.

Are they crazy? It is going to be very difficult to get on the 6:30 flight with limited seats and now I will have to wait an extra hour in a terrible airport.

Not Happy!

Eek. Sounds like some of the things AA has done with SJC-SNA. They have one or two MD80 flights plus the ERJs and they constantly tinker with the times. The MD80 flights run very full on certain days with ExPlat/Plat commuters and when the schedule shifts it can be a big problem for a lot of regulars. At least they have an Admirals Club to use, unlike the icky AS gate area at SJC.

On the plus side for the area (but doesn't help you), AS is replacing a QX SFO/PDX flight with AS metal.
