Help With Checkin

I don't fly AS often so

If I check in 24hrs in advance on line will I be able to change seats when at an airport Kiosk?

For the same above can I upgrade or check for paid upgrade availability at the kiosks if I have already checked in on line?

When you check in on line does it show ALL available seats even if some are set aside for people with AS status?

thanks

In my somewhat recent experience, no. And you can't change your FFP either. I swear these used to be functions 2+ years ago.

Nope, once you check in online, nothing can be done at a kiosk...

...which is too bad especially for an airline that was first with online check-in, it seems to have fallen behind and let other carriers surpass it with more features/functionality.

As I understand it, it is due to a software issue and, AFAIK, that is in the process of changing. The recent upgrade to the Web Check-in software is programmed by the same vendor that will be programming the next release of the ITM (kiosk) software. When that's done, I've been told that both the Web Check-in and the ITMs will be using software from the same vendor and that will eliminate many of the problems now encountered, such as not being able to reprint a boarding pass or make a change using the ITM after you've used Web Check-in. I could be wrong about the above, but I'm pretty sure that's what is in the works.

That would be a most welcome fix.

Excellent summary - that about says it all. Coming soon to a kiosk near you...

To answer the other question, no you will only be able to see seats available for you to select depending on your status.
