Lounge access

Hi all,

im using a BA Amex 2-4-1 voucher to fly LHR to SEA. I need to book SEA to HNL separately and so booking Alaska Air. Question about lounge access - I’m flying First on the transatlantic leg but that’s a separate booking due to the voucher. I’m then flying domestic first to HNL on the same day. Can I access a lounge at SEA?

Yes. You can use the C or N Alaska Lounge (or both); the D Lounge is currently closed for refurbishing. The simplest reason for access will be that you are flying SEA-HNL in first.

  • First Class Lounge access:
    • For bookings made on/after November 18, 2022:
    • DISTANCE: Lounge access is granted to passengers traveling on a paid First Class or a First Class award ticket* on flights operated by Alaska Airlines where one flight has a distance of at least 2,100 miles on the day of the flight only, to all lounges in that day's itinerary, including connecting flights that are less than 2,100 miles. Lounge access is not included for family or other guests not traveling in First Class. Entrance into other airline clubrooms is not included with First Class fares or awards. To access the Alaska Lounge, passengers must show their eligible same-day First Class boarding pass to the Alaska Lounge Staff. Passengers traveling on a paid First Class or a First Class award ticket* where no single flights exceed 2,100 miles can purchase a discounted day pass** for $30.

Thank you both so much! Just wanted to check. We usually go through LAX and use Admirals. Alaska lounge looks a lot nicer!

LHR-LAX on BA/AA J should give you access to the Flagship lounge :)

Sorry to revive this but I’ve run into some trouble getting domestic first availability from Seattle to Hawaii so I might have to book economy seats. Now I know this won’t get me any lounge access but wondering if the fact I’ve come in on a business class BA ticket to Seattle would get me into a lounge while I wait for the Hawaii flight.

You may have access to the BA lounge in the South Terminal, as you're connecting from BA J to another OW carrier. The OW rules seem to indicate that you can also access the AS lounges, as the general rules don't seem to have a restriction on connecting on separate v. the same reservation - but those more experienced may have more particular information.
