Why do I have an e-cert?
I thought it was a bug in AwardWallet when it showed me this.
I flew SFO-SJD in paid F about a week before the validity date begins, but the flight was on time and I didn't complain about anything. It was my only AS flight all year. I never received any email or anything about it, so it likely would have expired but for AwardWallet tracking everything. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...92ab18bcc1.png |
maybe it was put in the wrong customers account, but I bet they will just say keep it. Enjoy the gift!

Not exactly the same situation, but I remember an AS flight and shortly after landing I received an email from Customer Care apologizing for something that transpired on the flight and I had an E Cert in my account. The flight went off without a hitch and to my knowledge there were no issues that occurred. The apology did not make reference to the flight route or number so I don't know if it was an error.

Could have been submitted by FA after noting something where you deserved a credit. Good Samaritan or equipment failure.
I had Alaska employee in lounge tell me they submitted miles in my account as a Thank You. Happened after I assisted large group passengers in lounge that were having difficulties, and lounge short handed. Never showed up in my account, I guess someone else got bonus miles? Never mentioned MIA miles . But, am curious what they submitted? |
There was certainly no equipment failure. Nothing even remotely noteworthy.
I got my preordered sandwich, bought the wifi, and sat on FT for 3 hours. |
I have received emails and CC ECERTS by accident, and after calling into CC they discovered the issuing agent had mistyped the FF #, sending the cert to me by mistake.
It happens. 🙌🏻 |
