Using my MVP Gold on an KLM flight
 

Hello.
I will fly KLM this week and want to use my Alaska MVP Gold card.
I understand I will get my miles on my biz class fare but having MVP Gold,
will they let me in the "Skyteam" lounge pre-flight?

MVP won't give you lounge access, but doesn't your biz class fare give you lounge access?

If you're confirmed in business class, you have use of the KLM lounge before your flight or, in fact, of any other lounge operated by a SkyTeam partner, including DL. This has nothing to do with AS status but rather is a benefit of having a business class ticket.

Office just sent my ticket and it is "comfort class" on KLM and not biz. I was hoping for lounge access but I guess it will just be 125% mileage AQM?

Just did several legs in KLM Y.

No Sky Priority for MVPGs or any sort of special treatment. AS MSPeconomist said, in Business class you'll get access to the KLM Crown Lounge located at A 52. If you intend to take a shower there, I would suggest a stop at the ticket dispenser be your first action once you get to the lounge as the line is known to be 20+ deep.

Otherwise, the food is okay and try out the Heini machine!

On another note, anyone know how long it takes for KLM segments to post? Been 2+ weeks and nada. I'll probably just call AS to get them to manually add the miles.

Will try for LMU 30 hours prior you can "bid" for an UG to biz class.
