Thanks for passing this along! I don't know when I will next fly FL to or from LAX, but I'm sure I would have assumed that they were still in terminal 3 if you hadn't posted this.

A good move, Terminal 3 is just a mess.

I've read a story in the past that AirTran passengers didn't even know their flight was boarding, and missed the flight.

I think this was quite common for all passengers in Terminal 3 on carriers who didn't have dedicated gates. There would be one podium, but several possible gates, and the PA system was HORRIBLE. Both AirTran and Frontier will now have dedicated gates in Terminal 6.

I thought I read somewhere that VX is taking over T3, so I guess VX and AS needs all the gates etc they can get their hands on
