Standby Priority Rules
Does anyone know what are the standby priority rules for Airtran? I recently lost my standby priority on 2 flights I was put standby on due to an airline delay and missed connection. The Airtran agent refused to explain the priority of standby to me. The only thing he said was that if there are for example 4 people on standby and only 1 seat available, the one who paid the most for their ticket will get the seat regardless of whether they were Elite A+ Rewards or not. Is that true?

Elite members are however always able to get on a flight if they paid a "Full Y" or upgrade to "Full Y" Otherwise my guess is that the standby priority is: -Full Y fare -Time of request |
