Response time on missing credits
 

How long does it typically take for FL to respond to faxed inquiry for missing credits on bonus promo?

There was an original inquiry to the A+ Elite department via phone; they directed that an inquiry be faxed, along with relevant information.

It has now been several weeks, without any response or adjustment in the account balance.

Generally they should respond in a few days but I have never had to fax information to them. They have always been able to find the information in their computers. However after the purchase by Southwest things seems to have slowed down.

Since it has been so long I suggest you contact them via their web contact form. You will get an automated response, with a reference number however unlike some systems it does not send you a copy of your message.

I wrote customer service an actual letter in late August THEN followed up via the website with an issue about Elite upgrades and.... radio silence.

I think they've just stopped caring.

Also of note - now been on three flights leaving ATL when the GA didn't even announce biz class to board. It's "We welcome our A+ Rewards and Elite members and those in zone 1 to board." It's as if they already want us to start thinking about biz class being non-existent.

I have never had an issue submitted via the website ignored. It has occasionally taken as much as a week to respond. I would suggest a follow up through the website including the reference number from the first attempt.
