AirTran Birthday Offer 2x Points

Just wondering if AirTran still offers 2x points during the month of your birthday if you fly on a revenue ticket.

They used to do so in the past but so far I have neither heard nor seen anything similar this year.

Have you guys received the offer recently or are the guys no longer showing any LUV?

I received the offer in November, but that was still 2012 so I don't know if anything has changed in 2013.

Thanks. Hoping for some more answer for 2013 though. I am holding off a purchase at this time...

I received the email last month.

Dear lidotaja,

In celebration of your birthday this February, enjoy double A+ Rewards credits on your next AirTran Airways flight. To earn double A+ Rewards credits simply:

Go to AirTran.com between February 1, 2013, and February 28, 2013,
and book your AirTran flight for travel by April 30, 2013.
Enjoy the flight! Once you complete your travel, double A+ Rewards credits will be posted to your account within 8-10 weeks.

Same email as above for my wife but not for me. Both of us are March B-days. But can't anybody sign up for double credit right now until May 15 anyways? Unless you now get triple credit...but I highly doubt that.

Did anyone do this and get triple credit? I have a May birthday and am wondering if it makes sense to wait for this.

Any updates on the birthday bonus? I'm going to assume it stopped in May? I'm about to book a flight in July, and was wondering if it's worth waiting a couple days.

TIA!

I received the offer this spring, but the birthday bonus credits have not yet posted. It seems to me that it took a few months for them to post, last year.

However, the "Earn Double Credits & Double Elite-Qualifying Credits on all AirTran flights from 03/07 - 06/12/2013" bonus credits posted very promptly.

OK -- looking at the past years, I've received emails on
7/1/2010
7/1/2011
7/3/2012
so we'll see. The verbiage in the emails are all the same -- it looks like as long as you book after 1st I would be eligible (if they haven't stopped this offer).

Thanks! Good to know it's out there -- not sure if I'll get the double credits, but it will be a nice bonus if so.

Is the FL Birthday Bonus still being offered this year?
