LAX Lounge
Flying back LAX-LHR in April and looking to escape the main terminal building, but not in any way a regular flyer.
Are there lounges available in LAX that I can pay to access? |
Take a walk to In-Out Burger instead x

I guess I’m looking (perhaps in vain) for an equivalent to the Escape Lounge I’ve just booked at Manchester T3 (unless it changes in the meantime). Just somewhere with some more comfortable seating than the main terminal and with reduced noise levels. |
From a quick search it looks like your only option might be the Star Alliance lounge @ $75:

Thank you, I’ll take a look at that. |
It depends who you're flying as each of the lounges that offer paid access have carrier requirements.
If you're flying a oneWorld alliance member (e.g. AA or BA) you may be able (subject to availability) to purchase access to the American Admirals Club in T4 or T5 for $65 or the Flagship Lounge in T4 for $150. You may also be able to purchase access to the Alaska Lounge in T6 for $60. If you're flying on a Star Alliance carrier (e.g. UA) then you may be able to purchase access to the Star Alliance Lounge in TBIT for $75 or the United Club in T7 for $59. I'm not aware of any of the Skyteam Lounges that offer paid access. The Delta Skyclub does not offer single visit or day passes to people who are not eligible for entry (guests of people with access can pay $50). |
We’re flying with BA (the post was moved from the BA section, hence now a lack of context), so I’ll check out the AA lounge, thank you.

The LAX Admirals Club is decent, not great. But still way better than the public areas. Somewhat of a trek to the TBIT, but on par with the standard treks at LHR. If your flight departs the Midfield Satellite Concourse, LONNGG trek.

Upgrade that leg to business class and get access.
We are flying LAX-ICN in March and we booked J class - only 75% more than premium economy. OZ has business class access to the Star Alliance lounge at LAX. We also have Amex Plat but the lines and wait times are horrendous... |
One of the terminals have a gaming room where you can buy some hours of time to play a PC Game or console game - it's a good way to kill time
