Priority Pass @ CDG

Hello, all! I'm having a difficult time figuring out a few PP items at CDG airport in Paris. Any help is appreciated.
  1. We're flying in (via premium economy UA) and connecting out (via economy AF) of Terminal 2 but wondering if we're able to go to Terminal 1 for Star Alliance lounge access to shower. It appears the PP allows access to this lounge but it states the Business Lounge only. Not sure if that includes showers or not. Any experience with that as well as going to a terminal one is not flying out of?
  2. There are a lot of Air France lounges in Terminal 2 but I cannot find out if any allow access via PP. Looks like most have showers, though, so that might me a better option than Terminal 1 anyway. Does anyone have experience with this?

If they are not listed here, they do not accept Priority Pass: https://www.prioritypass.com/en/loun...ance/paris-cdg

Got it. Thanks, Mia. It looks like AF lounges are, in fact, not part of PP according to their site. Any thoughts on question #1?

A quick search found this existing thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/airp...t-lounges.html

It depends on the date of your flight. UA will soon move back to Terminal 1. If you land at T1, then you can indeed visit the Star Alliance lounge. The business lounge has showers. The First Class lounge is just a small separate area. More details at https://loungereview.com/lounges/sta...ss-lounge-cdg/.

As long as UA operates at Terminal 2, however, you cannot use the Star Alliance Lounge. You won't be able to get beyond the checkin area at T1 with your boarding pass for T2.

As for the Air France lounges, as pointed out above, they do not participate in Priority Pass.

Thank you for the answer, Pat.

According to the PP and Loungbuddy apps, 2E does have a YotelAir which accepts PP. It has showers and you get a 10 euro credit for snacks/drinks.

My daughter may have an overnight layover at CDG, transfering from Dubrovnik to LHR. Based on any recent experiences, is there a chance of actually getting in the Yotel for 3 hours overnight at 2E with Priority Pass?

With Priority Pass you will only get "Access" to their "Lobby" where you can sit and can grab some drings/snacks from a vending machine with your credit you get when checkin in. If you want to showe or sleep, you have to rent a room with them.

Yeah it's not much more than a glorified lobby. One Mile at a Time reviewed it as such. At least it's something.

Flying through CDG on Sunday BR J to UA Y so assuming I don't have access to *A lounge with that. It says they take priority pass, any experience with it during what's likely a peak-ish time (late morning)? Is the PP star lounge the new star lounge that opened or the older one (not sure of the older one closed with the newer one opening)?

With Priority Pass, you can use the old Star Alliance lounge (https://loungereview.com/lounges/sta...ss-lounge-cdg/) that is located immediately after passport control, BEFORE security. The lounge is far less crowded than it used to be, now that Star Gold members and business class customers have access to the new lounge.

You will not be able to use the new lounge (https://loungereview.com/lounges/sta...-non-schengen/) which is located after security. Do not go through security or you'll be turned away at the lounge, and it will be a hassle to exit security and walk all the way back to the central terminal. There are agents with Priority Pass and DragonPass signs after passport control to help direct folks.

Thanks! Here now and it is shockingly empty - I knew it would be emptier with all *A gold and J/F pax going to the new lounge, but there's not even 10 people in here during the main US flight pushes (I'd expect the US to have an outsized number of PP cards from all the credit cards that offer it). Part of the reason may be the difficulty accessing it from lack of signage (and signage confusion with the new one). I accidentally entered France and quickly came back in before realizing my wrong turn.

For anyone who is trying to find it on a T1 non-Schengen to non-Schengen connection, follow the signs for gates 40-68 (can also use the Qatar lounge signage), then when you get to immigration queues, turn left and head into the elevator.

Lounge itself is solid for a PP lounge, if a little dark + low ceilings. Standard breakfast items now (including real maple syrup for the crepes, which was nice to see), standard liquor selection, and showers available for free (although I'd use your own shampoo/soap - the large bottles they have are not tamper-resistant). Decent number of plugs throughout, but they require European chargers (not universal like a lot of lounges are switching to) but luckily the lounge gave me a universal adapter so I could charge my phone.
