LAX Terminals 2/3

I don't usually fly domestic but I see that, even though I'm flying "First" which is more like premium economy, I don't get lounge access and even my Delta Platinum or AMEX Platinum makes us pay $29 each for just an hour or possibly 2 before the flight. I might as well just buy something decent at the inflate airport price as it won't come to $58. It's morning so I wouldn't be drinking alcohol especially as that is included on the plane.

My bigger question is, as I have to check in at T2 and travel from T3, am I right that I can go through TSA at [email protected], possibly visit the lounge Virgin Atlantic on our Priority Pass if there's time, and take a Delta Shuttle to T# for the flight?

Delta are total creeps and don't help with info. They say check with the people at the airport, but by that time I'm committed. Actually First World Problems so it's all good.

The bolded is incorrect. If you have an Amex Platinum you get free access to the SkyClub for you. Any guests are $29. Also no US airline (other than Alaska) includes lounge access for domestic first so it's hardly a Delta only situation.

The above is correct in that as an AMEX Platinum card holder you get complimentary SkyClub access and a companion costs $29.

For your other question, you can enter TSA in T2 and if they say your flight departs T3, just tell them you intend on using the lounge and will take the shuttle to T3. The shuttle to T3 is near TSA and Gate 21. Iíve entered TBIT to use a lounge there when I was departing T2 and it was no problem.
