The Club CHS | Reviews and discussion
Started my day in the club in Charleston today. It's a smallish facility. Opens at 5am, but hot food not available until 5:30, but it was out before that. They had scrambled eggs, bacon and breakfast potatoes, as well as oatmeal. Three cut fruit, a couple more while food. Coffee machine, cereal (but no milk or bowls in sight). English muffin, bagels, pastries, 3 juices, water, various tea selection, cold creaps. That's about it for food. Two single unisex bathrooms, one computer with printer/ scanner and 2 TVs, oddly placed where only 8 people could watch. Plenty of seating, good views odd the inside of the airport. Typical slowish process to get in.

IN the club now, pretty small. I would imagine when the BA787 business class gets here it is pretty crowded Didn't take many pics as it is probably 60% full now Food is decent - small wraps - salad stuff - Mac and Cheese that has been warmed too long - soup looked decent No ice for drinks, but water, soda (in fridge under food area) coffee are available and bar and liquor license are coming. The “Chia Recharge mix” has chocolate covered coffee beans. Depending if you want it be awake or asleep on your flight. Here today before my B6 flight at 1245, and it has gotten quite crowded. Same as mentioned before about food, with soup, mac n' cheese, salad station, and a few other nibbles, along with the dry/candy station. One disappointing thing is that they apparently don't have their liquor license yet? The front desk agent suggested going down to the market below on the concourse to bring stuff up. The market is overpriced, even for an airport, but a few beers while watching NFL football today are always needed. Overall, not as nice as the other "The Club" locations I've found in the US (PIT, BWI, others). But nice to have an option.

While the liquor brands are solidly average, I like the fairly large number of seats at the bar. So many lounges have either no bar at all, or a bar with 4-6 seats.

I flew out of CHS on 12/11 and noticed the chairs overlooking the walkway leading to the A gates. Went up and seemed smallish, but I didn’t venture into the room behind the one overlooking the terminal. It was a 7 am flight and while there was a temp bar set up, it wasn’t manned and a sign listed the hours of that bar. I believe there is a no liquor before 10 am state law. I have no idea where the bar pictured above is as it wasn’t apparent to me a week before it opened. Just had a couple of coffees, which I thought was very good and a couple of mini muffins that were a bit stale, They did have a few hot items, but nothing that appealed to me that am. This is one of my favorite airports to go through.

I visited a couple of weeks ago. It's a smaller lounge (similar to small The Clubs in JAX and other third tier airports) but it's a very pleasant space with good working Wifi and a nice view of the terminal and the ramp

The biggest detraction to the lounge is they close at 5:30 and the last flights are at 7 PM so I had to spend an hour at the gate. |
Visited this Thursday. Happy to report that the hours have expanded and they're open until 7:30 PM and capacity restrictions are gone.
