YYC Lounge Key Access
Hi guys, we have been traveling Canada, some staying in Airbnbs and some flying. While at YYC we used our BMO World Elite Mastercard to get into an old Priority Pass now called Lounge Key. Here are all the options for YYC Airport.
Concourse A: Chinook Lounge - 8/10
Hours of operation: 06:00 - 22:45 daily - We found the design of this lounge to be more casual. Since we wanted to work on our blog while in this Lounge Key, they didn't have a lot of room to work. The tables were small making it harder. For anyone wanting to just relax before boarding then the couches and seats were fantastic. The food selection was great. They have a variety of sandwiches and bagels. Didn't see any hot food while we were there mid day. The drink selection was all bottles from 5 different beers and 3 bottles of hard liquor. Overall this place had some great spots to sleep in the back corners as well.
Concourse D: Aspire Lounge International Departure - 10/10
Hours of operation: 04:30 - 23:30 daily - This lounge is the best in all of the YYC Calgary airport. The only downfall is it's only available to international flyers and transborder departures. If you are traveling within Canada then you won't have access to this lounge. The Aspire Lounge had large t.v.s in the front with plenty of space to work or relax. At the very back were two laying chairs with your own personal charging station and blackout curtains. At the front, there was also a shower for any guest. The food here is great with hot food. When we went we had rice and butter chicken. There was a selection of sandwiches and desserts as well. There were two beers on tap and a selection of higher-end liquors. The best part of this whole lounge was the coffee maker. It ground the coffee right in front of you and made almost any coffee you could imagine. Saved us with our long layover.

Priority Pass, Lounge Club and Lounge Key are all programs operated by the same company with overlapping lounge networks. The primary difference between Lounge Key and the others seems to be that no separate membership credential is required, only the sponsoring credit card.
