VIP Lounge Malaga

I visited VIP lounge at Malaga Airport late September 2018. It was reopened a few days before and because of this brand new.

The selection of snacks and drinks were OK.

Food quality was mediocre….

Pretty standard.....

Lounge buddy says this lounge is currently open. Could anyone confirm if it has in fact reopened post Covid-19 lockdown? Seems a little optimistic.

Yes, according to AENA, the lounge reopened on 1 July. See here: Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport Official Website | AENA - Aena.es

Yes, I was in there last Monday, I was surprised to see it open.

You are escorted to a seat.

No self-service, you must go up to the counter and ask them for whatever you would like.

Does the website actually say the lounge opened 1 Jul or was it news from an individual? I've looked through the link but can't locate that it states that it's open. Of course there is the post from a FT member above that says it is because they've been in recently, which I'm not disputing for a second. I'm wondering if it's closed again. I do hope not!?!?
