Jet Lounge--VIE
 

I was only able to find scattered comments about this in other random threads, so I thought I should start one for it. (Mods--maybe you want to make this a general VIE lounge thread?)

I'm on a KLM flight VIE-AMS-ATL. This lounge is where AF/KLM send their people. It's pretty grim. No windows, no art on the wall, all beige, very office-looking furniture. Lighting is really harsh over the buffet area--bright, yellow fluorescents. No plugs except for scattered wall sockets. No hot options for breakfast--just croissants, cereal, whole fruit, etc. The booze does seem to be self-serve if you're into that with breakfast.

I noticed some other posts as recent as last year that stated this lounge was before security. Maybe they're talking about connections, or maybe there's been a change, but it's definitely just after security if you're coming in from the VIE airport checkin and departures. (It's in the T1 section.)

It'll do, but definitely nothing to get excited about.
