Priority Pass credit include alcohol at restaurants?

Alcohol at the PP restaurant options - yes or no. I recently visited Timberline @ DEN. Server refreshed me on the rules - up to $28, did not include gratuity, but also did not include alcoholic beverages. I see no mention within this thread that alcoholic beverages could not be purchased within the $28 limit. Any insight? Is this specific to Timberline?

Priority Pass does not prohibit alcoholic beverages at this location, according to their website. It does mention other limitations so either it's a new restriction or the server was mistaken.

Server is either wrong or establishment's own limitation. It is just the benefit against the total bill - but if it is more than the total bill, it cannot be used as gratuity, EXCEPT at Corona Beach House at MIA where a 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill, then the PP benefit of $30 pp applied.

I had beer + food at Timberline about a month ago and paid with PP.

Either the server is wrong, or this is a very recent change. I'd put my money on the server being wrong. I've been to Timberline with PP 3 times this year, most recently about 4 weeks ago, and alcohol + food is covered every time.

I'll chalk it up to a server error. I was there about six months ago. I'll be there this Sunday and I'll report back.

Must have been a one-time issue for Timberline. I had a drink with my meal and it allowable towards PP.
