Lounge access at other terminals JFK

Hi! I’m a PP holder with a very long (5+ hours) layover at JFK, Terminal 5 (Jet Blue.)
Is it possible to travel to another terminal to hang out in a lounge to pass time?
If so, how easy/difficult is it, and do you have a recommendation for a PP lounge to head to?

Thanks!

Sorry, there are no landside PP lounges at JFK. There are no airside transfers out of T5. You can try to go though TSA at T4 and use the okay Wingtips lounge or try the same at T7 and use the AS lounge which I've heard good things about (AS lounges are notorious for having "no Priority Pass" signs out due to capacity issues, so beware).

Access into T1 is very challenging, and the agent was extremely firm that each terminal has private ownership and I couldn’t access a different one, even with a valid onward boarding pass. So be warned, though I hear T4 is not as strict as T1.

FWIW I had this exchange with DHS/TSA at JFK in February 2015:

Hello Mr. slykens,
I believe you are correct. I do not understand why you were denied access to get to the lounge at terminal 4. Did you ask for a supervisor at the checkpoint? Please note, a passenger can always ask to speak to a supervisor at the screening checkpoint to address any concerns. Did you get the name of the officer who denied you access?
I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Hope to hear from you soon.

While this is four years old, I'm making the potentially poor assumption that the policy is still the same. I was surprised that the DHS representative encouraged challenging the officer and asserting my right to speak with a supervisor for something "minor" like lounge access. I have not had the opportunity to test this policy personally and don't expect to soon as my next JFK flight is T4 and the lounge I want to access is T4.
