MAD T4S - Neptuno Lounge

Had about 30 minutes to check out the MAD T4S Neptuno lounge last week before MAD - LHR. Was a very nice lounge, clearly has been recently refurbished and was almost empty at 5pm.

Decent selection of food and wine. Nice bathrooms, believe there was also a shower (didn't have time to check it out), and very bright and airy. Not a lounge to arrive early for but a very nice Priority Pass option if flying out of MAD T4S

This is the lounge for all non-OW carriers leaving T4S and is indeed pretty decent, as are all the AENA lounges at MAD, honestly. One thing to take note of is it can get a bit crowded right before the EK flights.

Any ideas if access is granted with a BP for a Schengen flight?

Also, any experience of denied entry because the departure time of your flight was well over three hours out?

It used to be that you couldn't get into T4S on a Schengen flight. Now EU citizens can with the automatic gates, but I have no idea if they'd let you in.

Any idea if this lounge is accessible to arriving passengers? I really wouldn't mind a shower after an overnight flight.

Not accessible to arriving passengers. If you are arriving on IB in J, you can use the Iberia arrivals lounge located landside.

Does that lounge accept Priority Pass? I don't think it does.

Does not accept PP. You might be able to pay for entry, though. Not sure.
