I guess I can't go airside in t5 with a boarding pass for the next day to get dinner at a lounge .
But I could use the t4 plaza premium arrivals.. Right?
Will they have warm food included in the priority pass or Amex deal? I can't find answers. Some say food is an add on?
Thnx
I've used the Plaza Premium Arrivals in T2 whilst waiting for an arriving passenger and wasn't asked for a boarding pass.

Food is off a menu in both T2 and T4, three courses, rather than a buffet.

T4 lounge is much larger than T2 and I heard the food is better there (you could hear the microwave in T2), however the kitchen was unexpectedly closed in T4 when I visited so took the tube over to T2.

I don't think the T4 PP arrivals lounge offers made-to-order food any longer, sadly. Have used it three times in the last couple of months at various times of day and there has been a small buffet out with no more food available. Sad, as was indeed an exceptional arrivals lounge. Haven't used T2 PP arrivals for a month or so but that did still have a hot menu available for order the last time I used it, albeit the quality of food wasn't wonderful.

Does Aspire and No. 1 Lounges in T3 admit Virgin Atlantic Business class passengers if they are not within the 3 hour window? From what I have read No. 1 Lounge in T3 has an agreement with VA but do not know if they admit beyound the 3 hour window.

I ask as I will be arriving at Gatwick around 0100 from Morocco then proceeding to Heathrow (at about 0400) to return to the US.

As a matter of interest, why would you use either of those lounges rather than Virgin's own Clubhouse if you are travelling in Upper Class?

In any event, while VS has an arrangement with No 1 lounges, it does not seem to apply at LHR T3:

Opps...It's a VA ticket through Delta so I do not know how that will workout.

As to your second question, I want to go lounge hopping as I will arrive at Heathrow (from Gatwick) at 0400. I estimate about 30 minutes for baggage and security so I should be airside at about 0430. However, the VA Clubhouse hours have them opening at 0630, which leaves a two hour gap. My flight back to the states will be 1115 and I will leave for the gate at about 1030. This leaves me six hours in Heathrow.

Basically, I want a place to crash and freshen up before the VA Clubhouse opens at 0630.

Thanks for the response.

I have a U.S. Based Amex Plat with Priority Pass.

Just got a response from Delta:

Thank you for your email to Delta Air Lines inquiring about lounge
access on London airport.

Delta uses the Virgin Clubhouse in Terminal 3 for DM and Delta One
customers; the No1 Traveler lounge also in Terminal 3 is available to
Diamond, Platinum and Gold Medallion member and the customers confirmed
in VS Upper Class may access the Delta Sky Club in ATL, MCO, and SEA on
same day of VS operated Transatlantic flight between North America and
the UK.

Again, thank you for writing. I value your selection of Delta and will
always welcome the opportunity to be of service.

Sincerely,

Nick Alexander

Hey Peeps,

For an upcoming trip, I have a 7hr LO in LHR. After the transfer/security chaos, this should give me about 4-5 hours to enjoy some lounges, bringing me to my question

eg: T2 and T4 have PLAZA PREMIUM LOUNGEs. Can I visit both of them, back to back on the same day?

What terminal does your connecting flight depart from? Thats the terminal you can potentially lounge hop in. You cannot lounge-hop in multiple terminals.

Flying in and out of T2.

"You cannot lounge-hop in multiple terminals."

Is that enforced by security or lounge itself?

It is enforced by the layout of the airport.

Arrivals and departures are segregated. You are not supposed to go to the departures area of a terminal unless you have a flight from that terminal.

From T2 arrivals, you would go through security to T2 departures, from where it is not possible to get to T4.

From T2 arrivals, you could also take the airside bus to T4. You probably need a T4 boarding pass to get through security, but if you somehow get through without one, it is not possible to go back to T2 without finding staff and explaining why you are in the wrong terminal.

If you are going to spend more than 250 in a shop in T4 that doesn't exist in T2, you can book the terminal transfer service and will be escorted there - potentially you could sneak away to the lounge then call for an escort back later.

You can actually. Not easy and you need to leave plenty of time, but it is entirely possible. Who told you that you cant?

T5 Aspire Lounge Access

Im wondering what the guest policy is for additional travellers when using Lounge Key to access the Aspire Lounge in T5? Is there a cost for my partner to enter?

welcome to FT!

this is what the lounge key site states regarding guests

You can invite guests to join you in a lounge. Most lounges will allow any number of guests but, where there are restrictions in place, these are highlighted within the lounge details available on the lounge finder. Please contact your card issuer for further detail on the fee charged for guests. Please note each individual LoungeKey customer should present their card when entering a lounge to ensure that any prevailing charges are made correctly.
