Supposedly there are two levels to the lounge since the renovation. Has anyone checked out the second level?

Does anyone know if SkyTeam Elite+ (FB Gold) can bring a guest when flying AF in Economy?

Thanks!

I was at this lounge the other day and the second level was closed. I asked the LD about it and she told it they only open it during busy times such as Thursday afternoon/early evening.

I am posting this from the new upper floor of the lounge, so today it is open. Nice design and definitely a bit quieter than the lower floor. But they forgot some essential aspects : 3/4 of the seats have no power outlet available/accessible. Only the seats along 2 of the walls have outlets. Unbelievable to design a lounge without such a basic equipment today.
I will post some pictures soon

Crowded lower floor only

Visited 15:00 - 15:45 on Tuesday 19th Feb.
Crowded in lower floor with usual range of food available; tomato soup, meatballs, veg, potato, salads in Kilner type jars, olives etc. All felt a bit unloved, although the LD was exceptionally cheery and welcoming.
No sign of upstairs being open then.

From photos, upstairs certainly looks slicker and sharper - thanks for posting

Lucky you, because they are usually the most unpleasant LD among the lounges I visit.

I read that this lounge is closing on the 1st of February due to closure of pier B. Does anyone know how long the closure will last, and will there be an alternative lounge for Schengen passengers?
