Priority Pass options (as of 8/28/21)

There are currently 0 PP lounge options at LAX with their respective hours of operation for PP members:
  • Barney's Beanery (Terminal 2); 10:30 am-midnight removed from program 11/30/2018
  • Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse (Terminal 2); 5:00 am-10:30am being converted to a Delta SkyClub. Delta signage already displayed outside April 2021
  • Campanile (Terminal 4) 6a-10p - restaurant with $28 credit removed from program in October 2018
  • Alaska Lounge (Terminal 6); 4:30 am-11:00 pm (4:30-10:00 pm Sundays) according to Priority Pass access is "temporarily suspended" effective July 26, 2021
  • Point the Way Cafe (Terminal 6); 1 pm-11 pm - restaurant with $28 credit (PP cards issued via American Express Platinum Card do not qualify) dropped out June 2021 after reopening
  • Korean (KAL) Lounge (TBIT); 11:00am-5:00pm report on FT in 8/2021 is that this lounge is no longer accepting PP
  • P.F. Chang's (TBIT) 11a-11p - restaurant with $28 credit removed from program October 2019
  • Rock & Brews (Terminal 1) 5:00am - 10:00 pm - restaurant with $28 credit (PP cards issued via American Express Platinum Card do not qualify)

Note that all terminals from T4 through T8, including TBIT, are connected airside, albeit not necessarily in the most passenger friendly manner. Expect multiple sets of stairs, escalators, long underground tunnels, and so on.Note that the Alaska Lounge has a tendency to deny access to priority pass holders due to "crowding" reasons.

Take the DL bus to TBIT (as of summer '18 they don't check BPs) and eat at PF Changs or KE Lounge, which is open to PP after noon.

According to LoungeBuddy, the TBIT Korean Air lounge hours available to PP are now 1:00pm-7:00pm. The PP app still has the hours 12:00pm-6:00pm. I tend to believe LoungeBuddy more as they seem to update rules/hours more quickly.

We (Family of 4 inlculding me + spouse and 2 children under 15) are planning to visit Alaska Lounge in July. According to Prioirty Pass website, the lounge is "Limited to two guests per cardholder or immediate family (spouse and children under 21 years of age)". Can all 4 of us get in under my PP membership? Or does it mean that only 3 of us (Me + 2) can get in? Thanks!

I'm not sure about the guest limits. But that is your secondary concern. The MAIN concern is if AK will honor PP guests at all into the lounge. At LAX, they do not allow PP people in most times. There's a sign posted at the entrance. What time is your flight?

We'll be flying out 5:50pm on a Sunday.

I like PF Changs over KAL hands down. There is often a huge line at 11 am when they open, can take 45 minutes just to check-in. The food tends to take a while. Sometimes I just grab some Japanese whiskey.

My experience has been during weekdays, so I'll let others answer this who have weekend experience there. You might be good on a Sunday.. Best of luck!

The $28 credit at Rock & Brews is a sweet deal if you’re flying on Southwest from Terminal 1. I’d take that over the LAX Alaska lounge any day.

So for the restaurants (like Rockn Brews, and PF Chang’s), Priority Pass gives you a voucher or some kind of allowance to spend ??

Yep. $28 for Rock & Brews and $30 for P.F. Chang’s. Only caveat is that you can’t use any portion for the tip. Be generous with the tip since I’ll bet the staffs are seeing a drop in tips from the PP affiliation.
