If you are looking for OW Ruby, just apply for AY much faster and less hassle

OW Ruby as such has little to zero value, but specifically with BA would give extra Avios on flights.

I wouldn't say zero value. Priority check in and boarding are very helpful if you are traveling in Y/PY and/or carry on. I wish *S will have this benefits as well.
