Air Berlin acquired a slot in Heathrow ???
I was wondering. Last November I saw an Air Berlin Boeing 737 parked at the Queen's Terminal?

Did I miss something? Was that machine wetleased or not properly repainted.
How did Air Berlin acquire a slot pair at Heathrow?

They were operating a wetlease on behalf of 4U on TXL-LHR I believe....

They were operating a wetlease on behalf of 4U on TXL-LHR I believe....
Weird, because I was flying LHR-TXL on 4U on that day.

airberlin operated a couple of Germanwings routes in Q2, Q3 and Q4 last year, TXL-LHR was one of them. I saw AB aircraft at least in June, August and November while connecting at T5.
