New arward chart valid from September 1st 2017

Topbonus is changing the award chart.

It is also now possible to pay the taxes with miles on international flights not only European flights.

Some terrible devaluations!

Business redemptions to North America up 50%, to Central America/Caribbean/South Asia/Central Asia/Gulf States up over 55%!!

All amounts for one-way flights:

Domestic
Economy - 33% increase (7.5k -> 10k)
Business - no change (20k)

Europe
Economy - 25% increase (10k -> 12.5k )
Business - no change (25k)

Middle East/North Africa
Economy - 25% increase (20k -> 25k)
Business - no change (50k)

North America
Eeconomy - 20% increase (25k -> 30k)
Business - 50% increase (40k -> 60k)

Central America/Caribbean/south & central Asia/Gulf States
Economy - 17% increase (30k -> 35k)
Business - 56% increase (45k -> 70k)

The changes in the partner chart are less numerous - but,, in a few cases, just as bad (local traffic in Southeast Asia!!)


Partner chart


From Europe

To Europe
Economy - 25% increase (10k -> 12.5k)
Business - 25% increase (20k -> 25k)

To all other regions
NO CHANGE


From Southeast Asia

To Southeast Asia
Economy - 50% increase (10k -> 15k)
Business - 50% increase (20k -> 30k)

To all other regions
NO CHANGE

From ALL OTHER REGIONS not mentioned above

Absolutely brutal to be honest. What I don't get is why AB is even focusing on this. They are in a terrible financial situation at the moment, and the least of their worries should be the FF program. Mind numbing.

Easy way to reduce liabilities? Do they even own TopBonus?

Even with those devaluations, topbonus is still a bloody easy program with some great loopholes. No reason to worry here.
