Have booked online AKL/BNE return in March. Booked Works in Space+, 747 outwards, 777 return.
As usual, visit regularly to review seating and bookings in case anything better occurs. Today am unable to review seating on return flight. It tells me I cannot do this until I get to the airport. Does anyone have any idea what may be happening? Am particularly interested in this leg as I may want to upgrade to WD and would need to know seating available before doing this. |

Yep i've had that happen twice and both times it was equipment change, most recently it was also because of a full flight.

Yes - same for me. Has happened a few times and it takes some time before the flight opens up to allow you to select seats

Is it possible it's an equipment change from 777-200 to 300??? But that's probably just an impossible dream! :) Then I noticed your additional quotes. Thanks for that. Will just keep checking. I doubt it's a full flight unless there are a couple of footie teams booked. |

Just booked 777 BNE/AKL in April and having the same problem. So must be a website issue. |

Just a question: is there a reason why we can't book to San Diego or many other cities around the world using airnewzealand.co.nz? I'm not sure why you would want to push us to expedia or another online travel service. Just wondering.
|
Paul (I think) did address this a while back, said cities available were constantly under review and added when it was felt warranted.

Passport details
I have updated my passport details in my profile a number of times and for some reason it defaults back to details for a prevous passport. I have had at least two new ones since then!
Can it be fixed so the passport details stay as I enter them into my profile...... |

Why doesn't NZ include tax on the flight selection page?

Yet another APD crediting saga
My GE Partner and I flew 24 Dec and 7 Jan for the holidays. My flights credited in less than 48 hours correctly, however nothing for my partner.
Went online to claim missing APD - the computer recognised and accepted the flights and responded that the claim had been successfully processed and balance of APD updated, yet did not show up online. Made a call and was advised Credit Admin would fix - nothing showed for over a week. I remembered I had an email address for that team and emailed directly. No reply, however the missing APD was finally credited the next day. If those APD had posted when they were supposed to, my GE Partner would have qualified for Silver independently, which of course doesn't matter in this situation. I wonder how many pax have lost out on earning the next status tier because NZ didn't credit points when they were supposed to? |
Wrong Seatmap on MyAirNZ for 767
I am booked on NZ175 in May AKL/PER in Y. The seat map while booking shows the latest config with the 32" pitch and WD in the fwd cabin of Y. However when selecting seats on MyAirNZ it is showing the old config with Space+ etc. The upshot is that seats 10A & B do not show and these are, I am told, very good seats to try and get. Is there any reason why the later seat config has not been added to MyAirNZ?

thanks for the heads up, I did choose my sets for flights on 767 in May/June and did wonder why when selecting seats through myairnz as to why there were so many seats at 32"
this lack of attention to detail by airnz is very very annoying - they give us myairnz to increase pax ability to take control of our flight arangements and then provide incorrect info on 767 is it still correct that space+ is 7-13JK and 10-16AB? presume this is for the entire 767 fleet |

Qantas does seem to do it The other thing is, on the New Zealand website, the total amount including taxes is shown on the side pane on the right after you select a flight. |

No space+
so TT 1) A320 there is limited space+ (ie 32" not what we had been used to) at 1 ABC, 2-6 D-F? and on 767 there is 32" at 7-13 JK and 10-16 AB, and some seats in rear cabin? (in which case seat map on myairnz seems to be correct for my flights) |

I have flight from MEL this week; ExpertFlyer is showing the (now interim) new 320 seat map.
However, MyAirNZ is showing the old 8 J map when I attempt to check seating with my booking. Are there any of the old 8J configured 320's still flying? |
None of the old ones left. they have the same issue with the 767's on MyAirNZ. I rang NZ and they can see the new config and select seats for you

Thanks.
MyAirNZ was still showing my 2D as my allocated seat (I've had that for several months), but of course that does not exit on last years 8 Business seat configuration, so my seat is not highlighted. Anyway, E/F was showing 1C as being free so I called was able to change to that. Will be boarding early as he flight is showing Y5 B0 M0 ... |
I have a fully NZ ticket which the system doesn't recognise as mine, whether I try to access it logged in or not.
|
I have a similar situation where My Airnz won't accept an NZ PNR. It is not a great tool if can not enter all my flights in it....

I've recently noticed that my bookings for Intl itineraries disappear from myairnz if I ring up and make a change to them, the Helpdesk can't explain why this happens?

Did any one else here suffer from missing a seemingly random number of points on Saturday morning? I normally wouldn't have noticed but since I was planning to use them I found I was down 100 or so points (air & status). I rang up and nobody had any answers apart from "appears normal on this side". Then magically on Sunday morning the points are back. What concerns me is that normally I wouldn't have even noticed them missing.

Did the deduction & recredit show up on the transaction lists?
Miles & More sometimes adjusts transactions without telling you. But in my experience Air NZ creates adjustment entries which makes it easier to spot, although due to journey credit complexities and corrections of adjustments of adjustments can still be hard to figure out. |
What a mess. Magically about five hundred and fifty airpoints dollars and status points from December have disappeared from my account. The original transactions have just disappeared. No sign of reversals or anything else. They were there on Friday and are gone today. Interestingly they were part of a round world trip and the other star carrier points are there but the NZ activity has gone....:td:
Would be really useful if Airpoints accounts were reliable...... |

I guess i need to keep a closer eye on my points. |
I'm having pretty strange things happening with my points too. Suddenly gained about 90 status points since yesterday somehow...and an old flight is appearing as the latest activity.
