Kitchen? No - the pass is usually for food coming out - I do always look to drop it at a trolley/station if I can.

I’ll often return my plates to trolleys around the lounges. But that is normally because they are taking to long to collect the plates, and want the work space back for my laptop / can’t stand looking at dirty plate sitting there for 10+ minutes.

Would be good if NZ would have some more clearly marked return areas in the lounge, on top of keeping the staff clearing tables.
