Domestic A321

Can find this on the forum.

AirNZ has the seat map for the domestic A321NEO up.
https://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/seat-map-airbus-a321neo-217d

It is different from the international one
https://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/seat-map-airbus-a321neo-214i

Domestic:
* has 3 more seats.
* Move mid cabin toilet to the rear, so 2 at rare.
* 2L and 2R seem to be aligned unlike in the international where they are slightly offset.
* Domestic has no USB or screens.

Haven't gone through row by row to figure out space + seats as the seat map doesn't list at top.

Legroom in the frequent flyer section looks pretty underwhelming - 81cm is as good as it gets? Pretty big step down from 88cm on the A320D

Having crossed the Tasman on a Qantas 738 last week with the tightest legroom I've ever experienced on a QF aircraft, I'm much less inclined to take for granted NZ's Space+ offering. The QF bird was the first of theirs I've flown on with the newer Boeing Sky Interior so I wonder whether all of their newer a/c have much tighter legroom? Anyway, it was awful, I was well and truly wedged in (not helped by the oversized seatmate in the middle seat)...

QF economy seat pitch is apparently 76 cm (30”).

It'd be nice if they fitted it with wifi.

Seat pitch is hard to compare directly with newer slimline seats like those already fitted to the neo fleet. I'm not a huge fan of those seats - they're OK (but not great) comfort wise, but the seat back pockets are useless being curved.

Did the delivery get moved forward again? Seems an bit odd to have the seat map up so early.

First one is due around Sept from memory. I'd be guessing they've added then to schedules for dates after that so need a seat map available online.

That 27 June looks like an international a321N as it has the mid cabin lav.

ZQN has been getting heaps of a321Is over the past two years, and looks like that is the case again this winter.

The 200+ seats per flight seems to work really well for ZQN.

Plus going to keep seeing A321N Internationals doing positioning flights, even once the domestic ones are here.
