Status Points Earning Decrease??
 

Logged on today, all my flights from 1st of September have different earn Rates. Some now show as 5 Status Points Earn Rate. Has there been an e-mail about Status Points Earn Rate Changes? Airnz Airpoints Calculator still shows 8, I wonder if they have updated the earn rates and not told anyone? Thoughts? Booking a new flight now show cheap airfairs as 5 Status Points on Main Trunk Routes.

What did it say at the time you booked?
What fare class is the booking?

All my flights have not changed Estimated SP earn. (I have a SP calculation spreadsheet, which I fill out when book, so I know that mine haven't changed since booking)

Was 8 and 8 when booked, the calculator via Airnzpoints.co.nz still shows minimum of 8, was P class that it was booked in, all of them in P shows as 5 status points from next month.

Just had an look My earnings from this week, both flights are in W. They seem pretty normal, although not sure why ZQN-AKL is 1SP less if they are both W.

AKL-ZQN transit in CHC was 15SP
ZQN-AKL 14SP.

Welcome to the measly world of NZ regional. 4 points per cheap flight for years.

Update: Called Airnz, they explained no change in Status Points Earn Rate, they would talk with their Online Team. Someone called me back saying, yes system issue thanks for pointing out. They would correct the problem tonight.
