Lounge for NZ departing pax from LAX
I assume since the Star Alliance lounge is closed, the only way for lounge access on a J ticket LAX-AKL is to walk over to the United Terminal?

With my Amex credit card, it gives you free Priority Pass membership which will get you into the KAL lounge at the Tom Bradley International Terminal.
Edit: Just checked, and it's closed sorry..

Hi,
From the Amex site
https://www.thecenturionlounge.com/locations/lax/
it is handy ( in TBIT) but
it looks like it has limited hours at present ( 7am-3pm) so not sure if it would tie in with the NZ departure to AKL.
Regards

TBIT is a ghost town. Almost nothing open (though more than last year) and only a handful of flights. There was not 1 single human in the security line for the ENTIRE terminal at 8pm on a Saturday. Usually (as many of you will know) its hundreds of people deep on a Saturday in none-Covid times.
Yup I am in MIQ now in AKL.

FYI there is no lounge of any kind for NZ in TBIT right now. The best you could do is the longggggggg trek to the mediocre UA lounge in T7.

Isn't the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge open in Terminal 6? It's closer than United, and while it's small, it's a serviceable lounge. It can get busy during Air Canada departures.

How's the grand plan of T9 coming along? As given none of the alliances will be using the midfield will anyone build a longue if T0/T9 & the reshuffle is in place for 2028 Olympics?
