Preferred vs frequent flyer seat

On the 320, the left is FF seat and the right is preferred seat with a marginal extra cost. Is there any actual different other than side of the plane?

thanks

Nope, no difference. Any preferred seats left around 48hrs before flight departure become available for FF Selection as well

Also look at the pitch. As pitch changes at different points on the left and right.

Thanks, how does as a320 change by seat row by pitch, on the 28 row 320 neo that does the Norfolk to Autsralia run. At the moment we are in row 5ABC and 6C, but the DEF side could become available. And it is showing all rows 4 and earlier to be blocked out.

Look at the seat map and hover over seat. The three different A320 layouts all do the row pitch changes differently. Well two in your case as won't get a domestic config.

And keep an eye the layout. AirNZ is switching the sub types a bit at the moment.
