Incident a 787 and 777 clipped each other.

Also that Stuff article has more info on the Trent issues and the NZE Vs Catering truck, than the incident the article is about.

Shock horror - Hangar rash.

As unfortunate as it is, events like these have been around since aviation started as an industry. We might find ourselves in 2020 and think we're all smarter than those who have gone before us but year on year, examples like this from all over the world show perfection is very difficult to obtain.

I understand the 787 concerned is already back flying so we're not talking anywhere near the NZE vs Catering truck deal.

I agree, and wondered why this was even ‘’news’ as the aircraft wasn't actually carrying pax, although was being prepared..
