Status points on a SK ticket operated by SQ
 

Simple question but hard to find a definitive answer but would this fare earn Airpoints and Status points of the SK ticketed legs on SQ metal?
I assume so as they're both Star members but just wanted to check.

You need this https://www.airnzpoints.co.nz/ and https://www.airnewzealand.ca/star-al...apore-airlines and your fare class

You will need to be careful as SK booking class will not necessarily map to the same booking class on SQ and it's the SQ booking class that counts and it's hard to know what it is. And quite a few cheaper Economy fares aren't eligible.

I've had a closer look at the SK flight numbers (operated by Singapore Air) are booked into Z class (business ticket), and the SQ flight numbers (operated by Singapore Air) are in D class. The ticket is sold on SK stock, it's another $800+ on SQ stock. It's the sub $3800NZD ARN-CHC if anyone is interested.

Good catch. I read SQ instead of SK as I saw Singapore.
