787 v2 query

My understanding is the 787 version 2 aircraft operate primarily on IAH and ORD routes. Out of interest are there any other routes where these aircraft operate regularly or is it just on an adhoc basis if they are scheduled on other routes. Thanks.

IAH hasn't been a 789 route since late 2018, possibly even earlier.

They're routinely on PVG and SIN routes now as well.

Easiest way for the OP to see the details they're after is to simply put the regos into FR24 which will give them every historical flight.

Flown it to Brisbane, Perth, Singapore. Was scheduled for my Vancouver flight but changed after the 2nd round of engine issues.

I notice our NZ 23 YVR-AKL and NZ 24 AKL-YVR November 08 & 17 have been switched from a 772 to the 787 V2.

That's definitely an unusual flight for a 787 right?

Yes I was very surprised to see it on the route when I booked. Itís very lightly loaded AKL-OOL so it must all be for the school holiday crowd coming back OOL-AKL.

AKL-OOL-AKL has seen allot of increase since the end of the bad relationship with VA, the 789s now are operating the route on busy days over the winter period.

Some days you'll see up to 2x a321NEO doing AKL-OOL.
