Which has better PE: 777-200 vs 777-300ER?
I have a choice of YVR to AKL on 200, or LAX on 300. Both cities are stopovers for me from my home city .
Which aircraft has better provision for sleep on this long flight? I see that 200 has a smaller cabin( ? Quieter), and 300 has a wider seat.
Appreciate any comments . Thanks.

Neither. Identical seats and product. Only difference is meal service is a little quicker on the 200 vs 300 due to the smaller cabin.
Really the question is whether YVR or LAX are closer to you and which airport you'd prefer to transit through.

Does that mean seatguru.com is incorrect in stating 777-300 seat width is 20, and 777-200 is 18.5 inches wide ?
I just checked seat availability on the flights I have in mind. Some seats are ' occupied " whereas a few are " Unavailable " ( row 24, and some of row 25 ) Are those seats reserved for special clientele?

Air NZ block seats for HVCs that you will not be able to access unless you're *G and they also block some seats that are only available once the flight moves to airport control.

No wonder those 777-200 PE seats felt so comfy from YVR to AKL, I thought for 18.5 inches it must have been designed quite well.
Thanks for the explanation. I think I am now driven to my decision by the availability of choice seats as I highly value the 2's and want to avoid the middle 4.
