Air NZ J AKL-HNL fully booked?

Was looking at J class fares to Hawaii week of 16th June, but absolutely everything seems to say "No Seats Available" or "Economy Available". Does anyone know what's going on? It's very rare to see Business Class full like that.

Even weirder, some of the Premium Economy fares show as "Not available on this flight".

It all seems to be NZ metal (787) and not a leased aircraft.

I believe NZ10 only operates on T/Th/F/Sa and not on Sunday. You may not be seeing anything because there isn't a flight that day.

the Friday flight on the 21st was cancelled back in Feb as myself and three others were booked in J that day. They could only rebook two seats for us on the 20th in J and other person managed to get last seat in premium economy. Was a bit of a mess, expressed my disapproval and got a nice GOGW in recognition of the inconvenience of us being split and the extra nights accommodation we now had to pay in Hawaii.

When we flew out in May, J was fully booked about four months out. That was on an NZ 772. Luckily, we were still able to use RUs at check in in AKL to get two seats together in PE.

Two of us flew NZ10 on a 772 to HNL end of March. Booked in PE and had Elite RU's requested to J with OK availability in J. Day before J completely sold out (about 6 seats sold all at once). So no RU's cleared.

I think as it's a leisure route everyone assumes PE/J won't be in so much demand but it appears there's lots!

J is also very price appealing to HNL. We picked up round trip j fares for $3200 for June trip (cheapest I have ever seen). You can then pair it with a return round trip first class flight to the mainland on Hawaiian which are often nicely priced and it’s a very cheap round trip to the USA with an Hawaiian stopover.
