EF shows PE availability but unable to find using search

I am looking to book HND/NRT-AKL on Feb 3/4, Expertflyer is showing 7 seats in PE but I've searched on united and called asiamiles and they are unable to find these seats, is there a better search option? I have UR, AA, AS points/miles

AirNZ releases the bare minimum of reward seats to meet Star Alliance requirements, so your chances of getting reward seats on AirNZ is number approaching zero.

The seats Expert Flyer are showing will be available for cash or APD purchase

My understanding is CX (Oneworld) is only a NZ partner on the HKG AKL route.
AA & AS are not Air NZ partners.

Hawaiian fly to both via HNL and is an AA partner. But AA award zones may be the issue even if even if you had enough (spare) AA ff miles
With AS ffp Asia to NZ is on CX only at 22500 coach or 25000 PE

The term approaching zero for Air NZ awards to ff partners is being very generous/polite.
